Monday– FOA and Exam Prep

Today we finished off the remaining FOAs.  Great discussion all around for this activity.

Then I gave out this: 20ish Essential Literary Terms for IB

You should know what all these things are, how to recognize them, and how to analyze the effect each creates in a text for the exam…  Really, who are we kidding, I think you need to know this for LIFE!

Then we looked at another pairing of text.  This should be familiar to you as it was used in an exam last year.  The topic is “Chocolate” and you have the texts in  your hot little hands.

HW: If you would like feedback on the “Chocolate” pairing, please give it to me by Wednesday, October 21, 2015. No promises if I get it Thursday, and your definitely not getting it before the exam if you get it to me Friday. 

Tuesday– No Class, 1/2 release for exam preperation
