Monday: Welcome, Assignment 1, and Assignment 2
Today we got to meet each other.
Assignment: Get a book before Monday, August 22. It must be in English.
Assignment: 3 Slide PP introducing yourself. Due Thursday, August 18. You will present for 2-3 minutes in class on Thursday.
Tuesday: Plagiarism and Academic Honesty
Today we talked about what plagiarism is and how to avoid it. We also discussed academic honesty. You will have a quiz on this information some time in the near future.
We also discussed the clip board and how it is used in class for EIC point tracking.
Assignment: Get your parent signature on the plagiarism contract. Be sure that you summarize the information we covered in class today so that your parents understand what you are talking about. Please return this on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
Thursday: Introduction Presentations
Today, we got to enjoy most of the presentations in class, but we still have a few more for Monday.
You turned in your plagiarism contract today.
You got a copy of the class text today. Please leave that other big book in your locker, but bring the one I gave out today with you to class all the time.
