Hello 🙂

Welcome to the new school year.  I hope that we have a lovely year together. We will be taking an overview of world literature with a focus on the epic hero.

You need this book: “The Language of Literature: World Literature” published by McDougal Littell and edited by Arthur N. Applebee et. al.

You also need the following materials:

• reading journal (A3 size)
• Lined notebook paper for assignments
• Pens, pencils, and other highlighters for note taking and working
• A folder/plastic folder where you will keep all of your work for me
• A planner
• A free choice reading book– it should always be with you in class

This should be enough to get you started this year, but we may have more things to add to this list as we go along.
